U of M-bound Karson Barnhart makes All-State
PAW PAW - Paw Paw High School senior Karsen Barnhart, who will continue his educational and football careers next fall at the University of Michigan, has been named a member of the 2018 Michigan High School Football Coaches Association Division 4 All-State First Team.
Barnhart played both offense and defense on the line for the Redskins, but was chosen as an offensive lineman. He received second team status as a junior. Barnhart is the 11th Paw Paw player to be included on a football First Team list. Previous honorees were Bud Breed, 1951; Tom Horn, 1952; Marlow Terry, 1956; Trevor Smith, 1988; Steve Houghton, 1988; Eric Laskovy, 1992; Aaron Skrocki, 1994; Derrick Mitchell, 2004; Kyle Galbraith, 2005; and Caleb Marshall, 2006.
