Grand opening set for PPB’s new warehouse taproom

PAW PAW - Paw Paw Brewing Company has opened its new taproom at 780 S. Gremps Street, Paw Paw. An official grand opening will take place Thursday, April 4, with a ribbon cutting ceremony set for 12 p.m.
At the new location, the pub has grown from a tight 800-square-foot space (formerly at 929 E. Michigan Avenue) into a 6,000-plus-square-foot facility adjacent to the brewery’s more than 10,000-square-foot production warehouse. In addition to more room for patrons, the new PBB features a sizable stage for live performances, and a private rental space for meetings, events and parties.
A full service kitchen, where Chef David Lodygowski and staff offer a full menu highlighting the craft beer produced on-site and the varied produce available in the changing seasons of the Great Lakes state.
Co-owners Ryan Sylvester and Eric Pearlstein plan to add an 80s-themed arcade room, outdoor seating and a dog-friendly patio in the near future.
“We are humbled and overjoyed at the opportunity to further invest in the Paw Paw community,” they said.
“Van Buren County is proud of the growth made by the Paw Paw Brewing Co. team,” commented Zack Morris, Economic Development Director for Van Buren County. “They are a great example of passionate people working hard in a business they love, and the risk is paying off!”
The grand opening celebration will include live music by Barn On Fire, beer releases, special menu items and brewery tours.
