United Way offers list of free food distribution sites

    United Way of Southwest Michigan has compiled a list of area towns and locations where free meals are being distributed. They include the following in The Courier-Leader coverage area:
    Arlington Twp. Hall -  Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays - 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
    Decatur - Decatur Jr./Sr. High School - Now to April 3, Monday - Friday, noon to 1 p.m.
    Gobles - Gobles Middle/High School - Monday - Friday, 9 to 11 a.m.

    Van Buren Youth fairgrounds -  Now to April 3, 12:15 to 12:45 p.m., corner of County Road 681 and Red Arrow Highway.
    Lawrence - Lawrence Jr./Sr. High School - March 23 and March 30, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30  p.m. One week (seven days) of supply of breakfast and lunch at each pick up.
    Lawton - Lawton High School Cafeteria - Now to April 2, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Pick-up locations throughout the community are TBD; follow their web-site/FB.
    Mattawan - Mattawan Area Food Pantry -  Wed-nesdays, 4 to 7 p.m. and Saturdays, 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. May visit once per week; volunteers will pack up and deliver food to your car. Call (269) 459-3088.
    Mattawan  High School  Now to April 1, Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
    Woodland Estates March 18 to April 1, Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
    Paw Paw -  Paw Paw Middle School, Monday, Wednesday and Friday,  11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
     Van Buren Intermediate School District - March 20, March 27 and April 3. Delivering food for students attending the Bert Goens Learning Center. Each package will contain five days worth of food.
